چکیده
In this paper, we address the control design problem for discrete-time systems subject to actuator amplitude and rate saturation. In particular, we develop linear matrix inequality formulations for the full-state feedback and dvnamic, outDut feedback control desinns for discretetim;! systems wiih simultaneous actuator amditude and rate saturation. Furthermore, we provide a direct methodology to determine the stability-multipliers that are essential for reducing the conservatism of the weighted circle criterion-based saturation control design. Finally, we give an illustrative numerical example to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed control design framework.

Application of Independent Joint Control Strategy for Discrete-Time Servo Control of Overhead Cranes
In this study, a new servo control system is presented for the overhead crane based on discrete-time state feedback approach. It provides both robust tracking and load swing suppression. Inspired from independent joint and computed torque control in robot manipulator field, a new model is derived in which the crane actuators are considered as the main plant. The crane nonlinearities are then tr...
متن کاملDelay-dependent stability for transparent bilateral teleoperation system: an LMI approach
There are two significant goals in teleoperation systems: Stability and performance. This paper introduces an LMI-based robust control method for bilateral transparent teleoperation systems in presence of model mismatch. The uncertainties in time delay in communication channel, task environment and model parameters of master-slave systems is called model mismatch. The time delay in communicatio...

This paper considers the problem of stabilization of discrete-time systems with actuator nonlinearities. Specifically, dynamic, output feedback control design for discrete-time systems with time-varying, sectorbounded, input nonlinearities is addressed. The proposed framework is based on a linear matrix inequality approach and directly accounts for robust stability and robust performance over t...

In this paper, we develop a static, full-state feedback and a dynamic, output feedback control design framework for continuoustime, multivariable, linear, time-invariant systems subject to time-invariant, sectorbounded, input nonlinearities. The proposed framework directly accounts for robust stability and robust performance over the class of input nonlinearities. Specifically, the problem of f...

In this paper, an efficient method is presented to control the attitude of a satellite with ON-OFF actuator. The main objective of this novel method is to control the amplitude of the limit cycle which commonly appears in the steady state of such systems; and at the same time by consideration of real actuator constraints, reduce the fuel consumption of system. The Proposed method is a combinati...
